Help Me Protect local NHS Services in High Peak

Right now, our local health services in Buxton are under real threat – and I need your help.

With the heads up from brave whistleblowers and the help of local health champions, I’ve managed to get a pause on plans to strip nine vital services from Buxton hospitals – including respiratory care, urology, and the pain clinic. These services save lives, ease suffering, and support thousands of families in Buxton and across the wider High Peak.

But a pause isn’t a victory. Not yet.

If we don’t act now, these services could still be moved to Stepping Hill – forcing local people to travel miles for treatment, delaying care, and putting the health and wellbeing of our community at risk.

To do that, we must show the NHS just how much these services matter to us – and how deeply they’re woven into the life of our town and communities.
