After my highly successful inaugural High Peak Careers, Skills and Jobs Fair in Buxton in April, I am delighted to invite you my second Jobs Fair this year in Glossop in October. This will be another fantastic event for those looking to build their careers, enhance their skills or find new job opportunities here in High Peak hosted by myself. This event is designed to connect residents with a wide range of industries, employers, training providers, and apprentice schemes

It’s a unique chance to meet with over 50 local businesses and education and training providers, learn about training programmes, and discover exciting new career paths. Whether you’re exploring apprenticeships, full-time roles, or career advancement opportunities, there will be something for everyone.

My first High Peak Careers, Skills & Jobs Fair in April was a fantastic event for our local community, with over 50 prospective employers attending from a wide range of sectors. Over 300 local people came to the Fair, and I was so proud to see residents of all ages looking for opportunities to build brighter futures.
I am committed to making my Jobs Fairs as accessible as possible, ensuring that they are enjoyable and meaningful experiences for job seekers, businesses and organisations alike. Let’s come together again to build a stronger, more skilled workforce in High Peak!
