petition to stop the dumping of raw sewage into our rivers and waters

We need to act now to save our precious rivers and waters from further harm. Please sign our petition below.

Raw sewage was dumped into High Peak’s rivers and waters 1653 times last year, which equates to a new sewage spill every 5 hours. This is a damning indictment of the Government’s failure to protect the High Peak’s precious environment and our communities.

The damage isn’t just in our community, it’s a national scandal. Every year, millions of tonnes of raw sewage is dumped across Britain’s natural environment.

To make matters worse, not only have the Government given the green light for water companies to dump sewage and neglect our vital water infrastructure, but they have also rewarded them for it by allowing shareholders to walk away with billions of pounds in dividends and bumper bonuses for negligent water bosses.

We need to act now to save our precious rivers and waters from further harm. Please sign our petition on this page.
