There's still time to have your say on High Peak transport 🗣️
Claire Ward, our East Midlands Mayor, has launched the region’s biggest transport consultation in decades. This is our chance to make sure the High Peak is heard!
🌟 What matters most to you?
• 🚧 Tackling congestion – where are the worst pinch points?
• 🚌 Reliable buses and trains – what routes need improving?
• 👧 Giving young people independence – how do we make travel safer and more affordable?
• 🌍 Connecting communities – what’s missing between our towns and villages?
• 🛣️ Better roads – which areas need urgent repairs?
• 🚏 Safe, clean bus stops – what would make them more welcoming?
This consultation will shape a new 15-year transport plan for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire – covering everything from buses and local roads to how we link residents to jobs, education and healthcare. It runs until 8 February 2026, and your views will directly inform the Mayor’s final plan.
