Massive congratulations to Claire Ward for East Midlands Mayor on being elected as the first ever East Midlands Mayor and Nicolle Ndiweni as Derbyshire’s new Police and Crime Commissioner.
They were both the overwhelming first choice of voters in High Peak – receiving nearly twice as many votes as the next candidates.
I look forward to working with them both to make High Peak an even better place to live.

It was great to visit Hope Valley Holidays at Glenbrook and meet owners Gill Petty and Andy Lazenby.
Tourism plays a vital role in our local economy, supporting jobs, attracting visitors and showcasing everything that makes the High Peak such a special place to live and visit.
Thank you to Gill and Andy for showing me around, sharing their plans for the future and the fantastic work they're doing to welcome visitors to the Hope Valley.
